Nikiti is a small town on the coast of Sithonia, in Chalkidiki, 105km from Thessaloniki and 36km from Polygyros. It’s a beautiful little town with a long shoreline. In the summer, Nikiti is very popular with Greek and foreign tourists who are staying in town, come here for its beautiful beach, or to do some shopping in its many shops.

Nikiti is located in a large area, very close to some of the best beaches in Chalkidiki: the coast of Ai Yannis, the beach of Spathies, the coast of Kalogria, the coast of Lagomandra, Karydi beach at Vourvourou, the beach at Elia Nikitis, the coast of Kovio and many more. The beach of Nikiti itself is also an excellent choice. Our recommendation to you? Visit a different Sithonia beach every day! This is the best way to get the most out of the beauties that Sithonia has to offer and enjoy swimming in the warm, emerald waters of the region.

Old Nikiti is built on a hill. It grew around the church of Saint Nikitas, which was built in the late 19th century next to the old church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (14th century). The old village charms visitors with its beautiful Macedonian architectural style: houses built with stone that retains its original color.

Nikiti is the seat of the Municipality of Sithonia and is a tourist paradise: it has traditional tavernas, fish tavernas where the fish on the menu is caught daily, restaurants, cafes, bars and beach bars, fast food restaurants and supermarkets. You will also find ATMs, a doctor’s surgery, a Citizens’ Service Center (KEP) and a post office. Nikiti has schools at all levels of education and a harbor for small boats and vessels
